To prove it was a PM I was typing, look at the subject line. This is the user the to box kept offering me when I typed ctdctd. Dunno why. I managed to override it and leave it as ctdctd.
Then when I hit sent, it flipped it to the user name you see in the subject line, and created a thread instead of sending a PM.
Definately a bug.
