        Not my analogy, just using someone else's back at them ;-)

        Anyway, open source is more like a citizens advice bureau or a co-operative society or something to keep using it. Guess they're competing the only way left open to them by Microsoft, by giving it away for free and hoping to make money by other methods off the back of it.
