You may note that on the one hand the experts say there will be no crash as the property market is underpinned. On the other hand they say house prices have out stripped pay and no one can now afford a house.
Pessimists will see a crash.
Optimists will see a huge rise in rates is due. Lots of inflation and that huge mortgage will become a months pay in a few years.
The real doom merchants will see massive crash and a deflating economy forcing the UK into a huge depression (at least we will be able to compete with India afterwards).
