Yeh. We need lots of immigrants in the construction industry to build houses for all the immigrants.

I know a couple of guys who work in the construction industry. They pride themselves in doing a tulip job when they work on council housing precisely because they don't actually want the job-theiving immigrant scum moving in and replacing them.

Disney

Plumber was the least respected profession in USSR. Soviet plumbers were paid with bottle of vodka for the job - perhaps we never really valued their commitment, say one plumber I kind of know immigrated to USA and became designer of some kind in Disney World attraction.
