* easier to protect yourself from bastard emloyers
* easier to provide for your family reliably and still have time for them
* harder but more rewarding

Yes I agree that going permie is not the only alternative, although I'm still looking for a plan b (what else can a toy Dalek to do) Any suggestions? My mortgage and car will be paid off by dec this year so I am planning to go and work in the Maldives as a surfing/windsurfing instructor. Food and acomm. is free and I get paid £80 week. Quite a drop in salary, but at least I won't have to take the tube everyday!Comment
