Mayn years ago we used to have big parties and one of them involved jelly. People went down to the local supermarkets and nicked as many packets of jelly as they could, meanwhile one room was wallpapered in plastic sheeting. This room was then filled with the jelly and chaos ensued...The first time we did this was in a first floor flat and ended up really really messy. For drinkies we used to half fill the bath with ice and then place all the bottles of booze in it and people helped themselves. Whatever you do don't have a party if there is a drive on lawnmower and a swimming pool available (and a half naked women with larger than average mammary glands!)“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Attended a party not long ago that was a Hog roast, DJ-Band-DJ, Clowns, Magicians, and quad bikes. Oh, and an open bar.
Clowns started to get scary after a few beers, and the quad bikes a bit lairy, but all in all, a top day out, all in a large rented house too, so all you had to do was crawl upstairs to bed.
Having to do vodka jelly shots every time you missed a shot on the snooker table was my undoing.Comment

1. Hire out some professional Gurners.
2. Foam Party - a la Ibiza nightclub. Not reallty thought it through much, but the idea sounds good.
3. On entrance, all the women get one playing card out of set #1, and all the blokes get a card from set #2. Later on .... Swing time
Also, the old favourites like Naked Twister go down a treat...Comment
