Taking me new bike out for it's first decent spin.

Plan on doing Frome -> Wells -> Cheddar -> Cheddar Gorge -> Over top of Mendips back to Frome again.

I'm hoping to get the Fazer Thou out for a spin too if the weather holds.

Need to get new tyres for the VFR. Hardly had any use out of it this year and a bloody expensive 16K service to add to the fun

Scrag, how do you like the Fazer Thou ?

I can't find a bike that i like as much as the pre-vtec VFR (although I have the VTEC now). Blades/R1s too uncomfortable for long trips, TDM etc not sporty enough.....am stuck between two 'types'. Was thinking of looking at the Fazer. Had a 1200 Bandit years ago, but never liked it.

The missus finally got out of hospital (she's OK now) on Wednesday and I had a family funeral yesterday (my uncle) so it's been a really stressful couple of weeks. Consequentially we are staying at home, pulling up the drawbridge and relaxing.

Very cool - never been land-yachting or even been up close, it looks scary to me though. I did build one out of meccano as a kid!
