snot on the screen can be a major problem at work. I also find that sneezing in the car can lead to tell-tale snot stains on the steering wheel.

If its an office workstation they you can be more environmentally minded by simply swapping your keyboard with an obnoxious Team Leader type.

Am I alone in wondering where mucus, snot and bogeys actually come from ? How are they 'made' ?
For example, last night I was at my parents house, whose flea-bitten grotty old cats started off some allergic reaction (like it always does when I go round there). Before entering their house, there were no signs of sneezing or general un-healthyness - therefore, little (if any) quantities of snot in my body.
But within the hour, I was sneezing and spraying huge quantities of snot around their house.
An hour or so after leaving their house, I'm back to Mr Clear Nose again.

So, where did all that snot come from ? How was it produced ?
And bogeys ? Whats that all about ? I assume they are dried up snot; but other than giving pre-teen boys a convenient passtime (pickin'n'flickin), what are they for ?

Bogeys,IIRC, are bits of gunge (retches) that have been trapped by the hairs in your nose which act as a sort of filter thingy.
This reminds of the legendary "Winston's Bogey" sketch by Derek and Clive.
