Here's something good about IR35 - It will be scrapped if the conservatives ever become a feasible enough opposition to get back into power.

    Oh, hang on......Maybe not.

I think you are quite right there Benn!

One for yourself, what should NL do now, it strikes me that the sooner Blair goes and Brown takes over then so much the better the prospects for NL in the next election, as John Major once said during his exit speech, when the shows over its time to get off the stage.

Actually Labour haven't been too bad at managing the economy. And hence why they have stayed in power.

        HTH.
        Hard Brexit now!

I personally think Blair is on borrowed time now.

However, I would guess, much to the surprise of many people on here I really couldn't give a monkey's one way or another. I've got a lot more going on in life to be worrying about things that really don't have that much of an effect on me at the end of the day.

            True,

They have lived off the prosperity that was created by the Thatcherite reforms. Question is just how much is there left for them to squander.

                True.

But the master stroke is creating a vast amount of state jobs, yes theyre giving NL a kicking at the moment because they dont like Tony , then again , who does, but when it comes to the General Election they will not bite the hand that feeds them, especially if that ruling hand is the hand of Mr Brown.

                Mark my words me hearties.

I'm not convinced that Brown will be more of an electoral asset than Blair.

What the Tories "fear" (and rightly so) is that Brown takes over and holds a snap election to gain a "mandate". Of course this election will be fought on the current dodgy boundaries which are so biased towards Labour right now. Accoridng to experts Brown could win a majority with only 33% of the vote.

You are all incorrect. Labour has done much better than the Tories in managing the economy, stimulating the economy and creating jobs.
The IMF (not the most lefty organisation) say so:
