It is just ridiculous. They had Negro as an option in the 2010 US census next to Black and Afro-American. If a whole country as PC as the US can use it why can't we.

Problem is any word can be offensive if said with enough venom and spite. It is the use of the word that is offensive of which he is probably guilty but god help us all if the way you say something becomes such a big issue
