Compliance is the gig to have now. Infosec techies are 10 a penny these days. Making sure they did the job right and making sure people play by the rules is where the money is.

Those that know these things will realise InfoSec = Information Security and not IT Security which = infosec techies.

You're right of course, I've interviewed countless engineers who think they're qualified just because they walked past the security cubicle when the firewall GUI was open!!
