Anyone else wasted hours over the weekend?

I feel its going to be a great time waster.

    Currently Level 8, warrior orc.

Enjoying it a lot. Huge playing area, nice gfx, I need to hone my controls a bit.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

I had to look up what Skyrim was. Watched a couple of videos, looks exceptional.

Problem is, I have kids, wife, family, friends and things to do. Wish I was a sad loner again.

I played Oblivion quite a bit which was enjoyable except for the way enemies levelled up alongside me... e.g. if there was a bit I found too difficult first time round I couldn't just grind until I was a few levels higher and go back.

I made a couple of bad choices in notching up the wrong skills when getting a level-up, and I found I was then never able to catch up with the enemies... I stopped playing when it took like 20 arrows to kill one skeleton near the portal things.

Does Skyrim have the same system?
It's about time I changed this sig...

          WHS

It took me about 12 months to finish fallout3... and some people recommend playing it end to end several times!

The kids are grown up, the wife has Eastenders, X-Factor and Sex and the City, she's watching that, I'm gaming. . Still leaves plenty of time for friends, the pub and other activities.
