Read this yesterday - my fave was:

Went on holiday with the lads when I was 17. After a few, I decided to get my girlfriend's name "Jodi" on my ankle. We split up three months later and the tattoo looks like "Jedi", which is also very annoying because I hate Star Wars
No tattoos here but did have a fair number of earrings in when I was young, can still see the holes which is a bit of a pain. Had some friends who had tattoos and really regret it now.

You mean averse - totally different word.

Not sure about the senior manager complaining about the tattoo on his forearm, I can't take seriously anyone who wears a short sleeved shirt with a tie anyway!

I often see girls getting Henna tattoos when on holiday, which disappear after a few months max, assuming no allergic reaction. Seems more sensible.

              5 pedant points awarded.

Point taken. See, you knew what I meant.

                Tattoos are quite tasteless.

Thought I'd fix that for you.

Wouldn't want any generalisations here in "General", would we?

                      Aren't all shirts shirt-sleeved?

Not really, they add a certain piquance.
