That's worrying. But if going for the Passet go for the Octavia VRS estate. Far cheaper.

If you were getting old, you would have started looking at sports cars again.

The thing is quite a few estates nowadays look better than their saloon equivalent.*
And not to mention having an estate is better for lugging children, dogs etc.
So MF is right its middle age, not old age.

*Still looking for replacement that'll be as good as my 7 year old MPS, which still works like a Swiss watch
