"1st class" is a railway ticket. You should change at Crewe

Edit: What are you studying wim?
Just done a level 2 english/creative course .... Doing a level 3 technology course at the moment till october which isnt my cup of tea as all they seem to want you to do, is write about how much you want to dig a hole in the ground and hump mother nature .... Starting another level 3 in september/october which will probably be another english language one ...

So far, Im on course for a 2:1/higher 2nd but would really like to get a 1st .... I dont think that is going to happen though unless I can get a grade 1 pass in one of my level 3 courses .....

          **sigh**

What are you studying k2? Are people here studying for fun or for professional progression?

If you're already signed up for a degree, and do at least 1 module a year, you stick with current prices (around £700 for 60 points), but for new students or those who take a break, it's going to be £5000 for 120 points (and I bet more than half that for 60). That's a hell of an increase - It'll definitely put off those (like me) who are studying for interest.
Have you applied for financial support or dont you qualify?

The fees can be pricey, but thankfully, ive managed to just duck under thresholds and get partial grants

Not sure 'fun' is the right word! Studying for interest - want to learn new stuff so I'm doing arts / art history. So far have clocked up 240 points, so just the level 3 courses to go.

No - I was paying with Tesco vouchers though, till they stopped that scheme!
