pj reminds me of a girl I used to work with whose initials were bj.

We used to call her bj.

"hey, bj, over here please" shouted across the office to then see a very attractive blonde waddle over was always amusing.

There's an old market trading trick, where you draw a trend line on a chart and ask a six year old to say whether it's trending up or down.

My son's not quite at the advanced six year old stage (he's only five), but even he got three out of the four graphs as trending up. Coincidentally, they were the three long-term graphs.

I'm not sure what the point of that page was. That in the short term the levels are dropping but the longterm average is going up?

The point is that we know sea levels are rising slowly, because we have emerged from a little ice age. But is the rise steady, accelerating or slowing down ?
according to the AGW theory, the sea level rise should be accelerating. the graph shows that it isnt
