            I love it.

Jeez Louise you guys have nothing better to do that stalk a "bedwetters" pathetic attempt at running a business.

Doesn't say much about you lot does it?

For info, the £15 fix is somewhat of a blessing and a curse. For example if someone phones during the week and says "urgent, need it fixed now, etc etc" and you quote the hourly rate, then suggest they wait until Saturday for a one off fee of £15 they generally wait. So then you have a max of 6 jobs for Saturday lined up and it's not bad money for a few jars to wipe some viruses off and such like.

There is the occasional one where they expect a full system rebuild for £15.

Thanks for the google ranks

Eh? Someone calls wanting the £50 p/h service and you downsell them the £15 p/h service instead?!?

So, rather than arrange to go around that evening @ £50 p/h, you would rather spend it on CUK which is where you tend to be most evenings.

                  Genius.

No. I have plenty of well paid work to do, but my motto is "if your buying, I'm selling". It must be the yiddo in me.

So if during the week someone pesters me to do something and I offer them them a cheaper alternative then they wait, feel like they've got a bargain and I don't have to drop everything at a moments notice to go running (this is not always possible).

Then those that keep on persisting that it must be done now pay full fare, and have no qualms in doing so. It works both ways.

Home users are the most pesky, and offer them a bargain if they wait a few days, and they wait. To be honest unless you have all your ducks in a row, and have all the tools in the drawer ready to rock then those 6 £15ers will take all weekend. If you're good then they are all knocked to the boundary in minutes.

The best seller is password unlocks. "I got this PC from work/carbooty/friend" and it's mine honest guv, can you just hack the admin password for me. £15 for 2 minutes work, nice.
