I had a quick look in at the Apple Store in Bristol on Saturday, which wasn't as busy as I was expecting, though it was late afternoon. Seemed like the iPad1 to me.
The speed these things are evolving is incredible, but batteries aren't, so it'll be interesting to see what direction pads and tablets take after a few Moore years evolution. I think they have a big future, but power is a brick wall that PCs don't face.
