Has a certain circularity about it.
    The irony eh?

It's the first and last time that will ever happen. Have to experience it to be able to slap other people on the face about it.

Well, there could be good news ahead. Contract could be back on again, for, hopefully, a Monday Start.

I hope so too. Had to compromise on the rate and take a big cut in order to get back it (but not less than what I was on). No happy about that, but I am hoping it will happen.

To be honest, I was expecting a bigger kicking from the board....but got off lightly.

Got the contract back. Reduced rate, which I am not happy about, but at least it is better than being on the bench.

Good man. Make sure you've got a notice period in place so you can return the favour later.

Well, the notice period has changed since the original contract (which was 5 days notice). It's now 1 days notice for first 2 weeks, and one week notice thereafter. So I have 2 weeks to find a new contract, for an early start.
