My phone is with Talk Talk after they took over Pipex who took over Homecall. I get one of their Bob's ringing me on a regular basis to persuade me to re sign with their broadband. They have offered it for free but I still turned them down - their reputation is that bad!!

Pipex is the Grim Reaper of small independent ISPs.

Not only is their "service" non existent, at least one person on here is actually being taken to court by them after terminating their contract, legally from what I can see.
Talk Talk should actually be banned from business by OFCOM IMHO, they're that bad.
That be me sasguru, I've posted about it before.

We switched to TT (with most people we know) when they first announced the free broadband thing. We've stayed for 2 reasons:
          1. Usage limit is pretty high, especially for the price
          2. If you move you have to start a new contract which you're tied into... we keep moving before escaping!

They're actually been OK for us for something like 4 years. Hardly spectacular but it works and doesn't cost much, free international calls were also great when I used to have lots of calls with clients in the US. Hopefully though we'll escape this time round, our mobiles are both with O2 who do a cheap discount for customers (or used to).
