    Sometimes the lost capacity can be recovered by doing a full discharge (WZS).

    To do this you will need to run the battery down until Windows shuts the computer down (usually with 3% remaining) and then restart and go into the BIOS setup until the computer turns off. You may well find that the last 3% takes a long time. Emptying the battery enables the battery electronics to recalibrate the empty point.

    Then recharge the battery and see if the wear has reduced.

                  Seems to both charge and discharge quickly - 30mins each.

                  I'm thinking, just get another laptop.

                  Is it easy to back up everything and dump it on a new one?
