last series was a bit of a let down until the last few episodes, was expecting something different . . . . but won't say anymore

Been hunting for something new to watch, after Dexter, The Wire and Entourage, so I laid down my credit card reward points and got the entire 6 or 7 seasons of the Sopranos as a boxset.

Highest grossing TV series ever.

86 x 1 hour episodes, gonna take a while.

Twin peaks is worth a watch. Its old but it's still holds its own
Sci-fi:
Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it does lose its way slightly but the script writers suddenly discover magical things like plot development when they find out they're being fired
Battlestar Galactica (The new one)
Caprica - about to go into a second season
Eureka - complete nonsense but strangely entertaining

Watched all Sopranos several times (have the whole set on DVD). Currently working my way through The Wire on DVD - am on the last season and am wondering if I like it as much as the previous ones - I initially tried to watch it on BBC2 but it was on too late and I missed the first few which made it all a mystery.

BTW - I see many House fans - I rate Hugh Lawrie, but the prog seems highly formulaic to me - her indoors banned me from watching it because I kept (correctly) predicting the plot (as it's basically always the same)
