If you look under your username and title, you'll see that you've gone from "norrahe is mostly harmless" to "norrahe makes sense" because I voted your post up.

You can vote for or against other people's posts by clicking the star at the bottom right of them. Over time, people who regularly post stuff that people dislike will gain increasingly bad reputations, while those who get voted up a lot will get increasingly good ones

Not sure what the Android problem might be; it works fine on the iPhone. I'll add it to the list of things to investigate

Think of it as a garden. It takes time for things to blossom

There's a setting for a phrase to be applied to somebody who goes off the bottom of the scale, which is around the -2000 mark, unless admin has changed the defaults. The best you can have is (with the same caveat) the +2000 mark, IIRC.

At the moment we're hovering around the +/-50 mark as people play with it. Over time, the dicking around will be amortised and it will - well, might - start to have some relevance. Anyway, it's just a bit of fun (until the shins get scraped and the whinging starts)

The flaw in this plan is people actually caring what the other posters think about them - given the lack of intellect amongst the majority of posters and the endemic bedwetting, it is by no means a given that the reputation tag is meaningful.

BTW what's rock bottom? - Surely it can't be the 486 tag - you've gotta give me something to work towards

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think
