Anyone ever been on OE? I want to take the better half but day packages start at £350 for London into the South East. Seems very expensive for a day out ?

unfortunately that is its selling point. Brutal of me to say this, but would you really want it to cost £35 a go and be competing with Thorpe Park for the football-strip-and-12-pack-of-Wotsits demographic?

We did a day trip to Stratford Upon Avon via the OE, not quite the far east run, but an enjoyable day none the less, £350: woth it for the memories.

Money doesn't buy class though . I went on it between Venice and Rome in 2000 and got abuse of a scouse bloke for ordering mineral water at the bar.
