I hardly spend any of my take home, not that I earn a fortune, well a small fortune maybe, but I just do not have a desire to go out and spend money for the sake of it.
I fear the girlie's hormonal desires are going to ruin that for me in the near future.

Maybe you need to get a life. What a sad act. Your age, and you still don't have any ideaOriginally posted by sasguru View Post... I find it boring. Guess I'm not very materialistic at all.
Was going to get a ridiculously expensive car and then realised it wouldn't bring me any pleasure at all. After about a week it would be just another twuntish expensive piece of metal.
Same with other new and shiny things. Or clothes. Or gadgets.
I'm bored with my Imac already.
Consuming is dull.
I reckon I need to start collecting old things of beauty instead.
Maybe antiquarian and rare books.Comment

Oh it's all downhill. When you hit two the cost of the childcare is astronomical, so only one of you can work. Then you have to provide an allowance for the other. Then comes the resentment. TheN the pressure!! Of course as a contractor it means the warchest goes quicker, you then have to work to stay afloat. It no longer becomes the free and easy way of life.Originally posted by minestrone View PostOut with a friend the other night who agreed with his wife to go for 'one more' to add to the two they already had.
