It's very light, has carbon wheels and is yellow, so well worth the money

        Yeah but still.

Btw, I'm 6ft 8" and 17.5 stone, I'd like a bike for road/green lane use. Can you recommend something?

My "wee" brother's 6.8 and he uses a 20 inch diamond back ... make your own jokes ... fits him quite well and it's good for recreational use.

Score! I used to bike from Putney to Mansion House and back nearly every day (unless the snow was really bad) and never had an accident, well not one that wasn't self inflicted. Loved it.

Also my bright red Klein Mantra race cost 2000 quid in 1997! I'm still riding it daily. best money I ever spent. I will file this thread away for when I come back to work in the City again.

I've got a bike that myco bought for me that I commute to work on (a total of an hour's cycling each day). Commuting bikes take a lot of abuse so being able to have the company repair it for me and keep it on the road is very useful.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Mine is a tri-bike - so not really the sort of thing you want to be commuting on!
