Well the good/bad (delete as desired) news is that I won't be making it...Originally posted by norrahe View PostRighty Ho!
Final Roll call for the up and coming event of the year (till I organise a summer one
).
Just to remind everyone where we will be:
Ship and Shovell upstairs, from 5.30ish onwards.
If you need directions etc.. PM me for details
"Good old" BA got me back to Jeddah despite Industrial Action.... the worst thing (apart from missing CUK drinkies) is that the on board catering was "limited"..... Now I can manage with "just" a cold meal.... I can manage without duty free.... but the Barpersons didn't load any miniatures so had the "choice" of warm Grolsh or Heiniken or warm "unidentified" wine.....

and the flight was full.... and the seat next to me was full of a highly pished Jock... and it was late... and my 'kin Taxi was late and... Oh Sod it! I just won't be there OK!!!!Comment

Friday you see. I'd try but a midweeker is easier, but I suppose it depends on circumstances and my missus doesnt like me hanging around with geeks at the weekend as well!Originally posted by norrahe View PostWell considering things seem to have normalised ever so slightly, it doesn't look likely.
