I like Birmingham, but given the price of houses in decent areas you’d have to pay me a tulipload of dosh to get me to move there.

Yeah, it's London prices here - I realised that last week whilst on the train from London looked at paper ads, and it's like - wtf, seems bigger houses for less now in London!

That was stated very clearly, with offer of 1 day work from home plus flexitime, ie +/- 1 hour without making start strictly at 9am.

It's a commute plus rate we offered. I guess, that's something to learn
