Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Some of the discussion seemed to centre around the idea that if you give your significant other a share rather than charge him/her £1 for it, you're in the clear. A bit nonsensical really if £1 can make £000's difference to your tax bill.Comment
