    Rubber gloves for the power-line

Power line is cleared now but the telephone cable isn't, and I dare not hit it any harder, it might break

Still snowing heavily, local recovery firm is out removing abandoned cars. I suppose the owners will have to pay for that

At least the snow plough can get through now

I couldn’t have planned it better. Lots of snow coming through north Hampshire. There was a Seven series BMW with low profile tyres driven by a moron (Estate agent type), holding up the traffic while trying to get up a hill. He was clueless. Eventually he reversed back down the hill but then he hit the brakes thus going into a four wheel slide onto the pavement. Even on flat ground, he still got stuck and he thinks the more the he revs the engine; the more chance of grip. He had to be pushed on the way back from whence he came. He was absolute red with embarrassment as the queue of motorists stared at him.

Behind him was a lady in an automatic Merc. Once she put it in drive the car just kept spinning in circles, she never made it to bottom of the hill. Her car was then pushed and turned around by pedestrians.

The Suzuki in front of me went up the hill with no problems followed by a very careful Paddy choosing his tracks in fresh snow in order to avoid any embarrassment of stopping.

Conclusions BMWs are still driven by ******.

Nothing since Monday in Norn Iron. Snow and ice in the town centres has melted, leaving them treacherous with grit from ba5tard 4x4s still driving too fast and spraying gravel everywhere.

Still some snow and ice on the hillsides, and melting fast, but there are some low grey clouds hanging about. Hopefully more rain rather than snow.

BMW drivers are the bestest drivers because they collect more driving points than anyone else.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

Ice, ice baby. Working from home today as I couldn't even walk on the street.
