When I bought this house and completely renovated it 2 years ago, I went for the Baxi platinum Combi HE A rated 40kw condensing boiler, and can't fault it. It comes with a full 5 year warranty and provides copious amounts of hot water (More than we can possibly use) even with the heating on and every tap and shower in the house running.
The fitter said that we were fitting a boiler suitable for a 5 bed house and could go for smaller, but am now glad I stuck to my guns and went with this one.

Our average gas bill is £54 a month, Mrs D likes the house Tropical so the heating is on almost constantly, and we cook with gas too.
PS. We have the radio/wireless remote control too
Just thought I'd share in case anybody is going for a boiler replacement
