My guess he's just completed another merge of data and his database of url's crawled is now bigger than Google's.

Or to put it another way AtW now knows more about the WWW than Google.

Suddenly the picture is very different: the addition of Google's secret index size [1trln against Majestic's 893bln (3/9/09)] changes scales big time! Now that is the real competitor we have out there! Our goal is to understand the web as good as the best search engine and we are not resting on our laurels - we actively work towards catching up with Google.
