    No Police or YSL?

I am in no way a brand junkie but when it comes to something that's stuck to my face for 16 hours a day I insist on style.

Are an apparent lack of education and poor communication skills symptoms of one being a chav?

No. Chavviness is quite subtle. Many aristos have a poor education and poor comms skills, but you know they're not chavs. Mainly because they bray like donkeys, wear green Barbour jackets and drive battered Subaru Foresters.

I think those are freebies upon joining the PCG.

Has anyone ever tried making lenses out of water (i.e. ice)?

Bench is the ultimate chav brand followed Tommy Hilfiger. YSL is high fashion don't you know.

I found some nice Italian ZeroRH+ on there but by the time I've added the lenses I'd want they were £350! I'll stick with the personal touch I get from my specialist privately owned opticians thank you very much.

That doesn't preclude you needing reading glasses when you get older. But at least with reading glasses you don't need to pay inflated opticians prices for lenses - £1 from the pound shop or a few quid from Sainsburys.
