It may be that the French have slightly more attractive raw material to work with as well. Most American faces will have been stretched over the frame of some fat, blobby yank probably beyond the limit of their natural elasticity.

I felt really sorry for her. This is one thing to like about being an ugly minger like me in the first place - I don't look any worse as I get older so I don't have as much to lose. The French woman didn't look too great right after the operation either. The face is certainly better now than it was.

Apart from the cosmetic thing - at least she can eat. drink and talk ' normally' which she was not able to do post op.
