Is that a euphemism for what Pogle experimented with in her misspent youth?I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff. -

Either that or you have a bad case of haemorroidsOriginally posted by suityou01 View PostAlways sit slightly forward in your chair, and try and keep you arms forward of you, not by their sides. Possible hands in lap sort of position. Then try and squeeze your arms together while leaning forward. Cross and uncross legs a lot, any motion is good, its shows you are motivated and cannot sit still.

I try to be amiable but serious. I always inject one line of humour, just to let them know I am human.
I always try to give the impression that what they want on monday morning, I will be doing on Friday afternoon

If they are looking to migrate a db, then thats what I am doing at the moment. If they are getting some reports in, then thats what I am doing right now at the current client. etcOriginally posted by TimberWolf View PostWas that one of your interview jokes?
the jokey bit is something like
'Do you think travelling down to London will be feasible for you?'
'Oh yes, 9 jobs out of 10 are down here. I even did a contract in Hong Kong once, so travelling doesn't faze me. Although getting back home to manchester for lunch was a problem in Hong Kong'
Oh how we laugh

I see where you are coming from but explaining the punchline implies that you think they are f'king eegits........ which while possibly true (both that you think it and that they are *see below) is OTTOriginally posted by EternalOptimist View Post........'Oh yes, 9 jobs out of 10 are down here.
