In my entire life, I have never known, or knowingly met, anyone who lives their life like this.

I am not saying that they don't exist. I am just saying that my tax money seems to have been well spent keeping these useless ******* out of my way.

If it's 1 in 3 of the working population that are inactive I bet you do know someone
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Its a slap on the face of all those stupid morons who without any knowledge blame "immigration" and pretend it to be "root of all our problems".

Scrap all benefits for all Chawnwers of this country. No work No money. That should be the way forward.

I found one interesting statement though.

"These are the unemployed who keep Gordon Brown awake at night. "

        Really ???

In Will Self's Book of Dave, there are characters called Motos. They are half human, half pig with the mentality of a small child. Can't help but think this is how the "can work, won't work" generation will eventually turn out.

There is that argument, of course. If they weren't paid to watch TV all day, then maybe they would be forced to do something else: like breaking into your house, etc.

There is that argument, of course, which is, of course, pathetic.

Indeed. Then add immigrants that have been given British citizenship, public sector employees trying to protect their pensions, Northerners that always vote Labour because their fathers etc did, and most union members, and their is you majority for Labour. Still, Labour should sort out this mess of their own making, so good luck to them !!

Can anyone think of a job in which you would happily employ a Chawner?

OK, you could use them for rolling cricket wickets, but if you're going to say they should work, and in principle I agree that they should, it might be helpful to suggest a job in which they can't do any real harm their special individual talents will come to full fruition.

Oi. I am a northerner. My parents are northerners and my grandparents too. None have ever voted labour. I am also a member of a union; the Dutch FNV Freelancers union; it gives me discounts on insurance and accountacy and legal fees which more than make up for the membership fee. I am also an immigrant. I would never vote Labour because I believe people should, and given a chance most will pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. Having a go at immigrants is cheap and has nothing to do with liberty or even conservatism; in my books anyone who earns an honest living is my equal, wherever he comes from.
