Tell him you can download the "Divers App" where it'll make the phone waterproof to 50 meters and encourage him to try it out in a fishtank?

iPhone is a thing of beauty, love mine! Cant be beaten for intraweb on the move and the apps available for it are top drawer.

I have to say I was a bit of a phone luddite for a long time. All I wanted it to do was make phone calls. I didnt even use SMS that much.

Since having the iPhone I wouldnt be without it. I just love it. Everything works, without drama. No hangs, no crashes, no hicups. It is stupidly easy to use, the touch screen is simply brilliant.

The only thing that could be improved is the battery life, but since I plug it into my Mac at home everynight to sync it up anyway it's not an issue.

I only want minimal telephone functionality, but WIFI web browsing and email appeals. As would would built in Sat. Nav. and other applications. I imagine the iPod Touch is the one that would suit me best. A bit pricey though.

              Had it, hated it

I used to have an iPhone, but returned it as it just couldn't do the things I wanted from a mobile. Picture messaging. I would have thought that something as standard as that would have been included, but I was wrong.

And yes I know you can send pictures by email, but what good is that if the person you are sending the picture to doesn't have email on their phone.

NickNick, perhaps you are just not gay enough for Apple?

You make it sound as if cheese sandwiches are cheap.
