I reckon I'm the true descendent of the Beaker people. I want to be Head Beaker, or at least have a big cup.

i dunno. i've been checking a bit this week (ever since i heard the words "rate cuts" at clientco)

.NET development in London doesn't look all that bad to me (admittedly i've only been contracting just under 2 years).
