I, like most of us in this (bigish) building, will be benched as of the 20th. I've been loooking now for a couple of weeks and it's dead out there. Deader than a really dead thing
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

2nd week on the bench after contract ended 2 weeks early.

One interview - which went to a contractor who lives in Spain,

Had a couple of calls re roles from pimps I have worked for in the past and have not been advertised so prehaps something may come from that.

        Job boards dead!

Oh well - Ok for a few months yet and need to do some decorating
Just call me Matron - Too many handbags

Heard from a mate on a gig in the Houses of Parliament. They've set on some Bob Shawadiwaddies fresh off the boat. Well done Labour for supporting British workers.

It would be racist for them to behave otherwise.

It's part of Brown's master plan to not succumb to protectionism. He will lead the world in importing people into the UK while other countries close their doors and set an example to all.

I have been told to expect a call to confirm my end date is still end July. Still no call, I think I will start looking after Easter.
