Not much point really. The wording of my contract makes it pretty clear that I am a disguised employee in this case.
Don't think the fact that I am in Spain has much to do with that.

I used them frequently to fly to/from NRN and MMX.

I never had a problem with them.

They were very late once when there was snow at STN and they took hours to de-ice the plane.

Other than that they were actually more punctual than LH from FRA.

And they never tried to change my flight, something LH and SAS did frequently.

Also recently had to cliam back a flight that as cancelled fdue to breavement - full refund in a short space of time.

If people are prepared to pay for "cattle class", why are they so suprised when they are treated as "cattle" ?

I anticipate and expect lower standards when I fly Sleazyjet or RA. It goes with the territory.

If I don't want to moan, then I pay more for another carrier.

            Simple, see ?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Been flying back and forth between Spain and bristol on Easyjet for the last 8 months with no problems bar the odd 30 minute delay.

Now Easyjet have changed the schedule to Friday morning so I have to take a day off if I want to come home for the weekend, so I decided to go Ryanair into Gatwick on the evening flight instead and get the train back to Bath - about 7 hours door to door, but worth the hassle as I don't have to take any time out.

Just logged into hotmail to print out my flight details and there waiting for me is an email telling me that the flight has been rescheduled to 9 am tomorrow (and this has nothing to do with snow because the mail is dated 26 Jan). So now I've got to take a whole day off anyway (if client lets me), no doubt spending hours on draughty railway stations waiting for delayed trains and, since I reservered a seat on the 9pm train, I'm sure I'll be made to fork out an exhorbitant amount for another train ticket.

The worrying thing is that I normally check in online the same day as my flight and rarely check my hotmail account. If I'd done that this time I wouldn't have been going anywhere because the fight would have already left!
I had a similar problem with Easyjet. I paid the more than the cost of a BA flight to get the time I wanted. The flight was "delayed" but Easyjet did not even have the licence to fly at the time of day! This link may help, you should get some money back. http://www.auc.org.uk/

If they've bumped you off a flight, you're entitled to compensation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europea...ation_261/2004 is the rule you are after. It is notoriously difficult to enforce, though - but you could probably chase them through the small claims court.

They're just ****'s ... you know it, i know it... it's their business model. Change every process, don't let the punter get used to anything, and just when they think it can't get any cheaper or worse.. change something else.

That way everybody says.. yeah, they're 'orrble, but soo cheap, i'lll wear it.

I know you have no baggage, and the flight doesn't leave for an hour.. but NO - you had three hours to get all of south east UK's public transport working - so **** orf
