Andyw's twin brother. The letter m was added so that we can tell the difference between the 2. Apparently, they are as bad as each other. If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here. -
Every BCS person I have worked with has been bloody useless. I worked with one who was the chair of his local BCS group and he was the most clueless person I have ever met by far.
I wouldn't even want to be associated with them let alone let others know.....Comment

Going slightly off on a tangent, the entire future of my Australia visa application lies in the hands of an ACS beardie. *Shudders*Originally posted by Ardesco View PostEvery BCS person I have worked with has been bloody useless. I used to be a BCS member in the 1990s, but no clients or agents cared about it. I found the higher BCS echelons too far up their own @rses and living in the 1970s. So having passed the exams I didn't see the point of paying them the annual fee any more and I left.
MENSA are a harmless bit of fun, and they do promote 'using and improving your brain' which is probably a good thing, but don't put them on your CV.
I'm a member of an organisation for my specialism, and I put that on my CV because it means something to clients.Comment

How can I vote? it's an invalid poll.
There's no AndyW option.
Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

However, I'm a MBCS CITP, if that helps.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

What I was saying is that any organisation that attracts a poll that doesn't include the andyw option has serious problems.

I know at least 2 people who have told me that they would not hire anybody that had BCS on their CV, i.e. it's going straight in the bin.Comment
