Palestinians lost their battle once they started targeted civilians with suicide bombings - Taleban in Afganistan has got more legitimacy because they seem to mainly target military convoys.

Palestinians really screwed up their rightful objections to what Israel did with their actions - they don't understand it because their brains are poisoned with religion that gives them no chance of actually achieving what they want.

Israel are not innocent they have killed thousands of innocent palestinians as well...shooting them point blank for merely being palestinian.

It is not all about Religion - it is an circle of hate caused by a fundamental illegal move by Israel in taking Land that is not theres and never was. Go back to history - Israel is catergorically in the wrong on this entire issue. This is the whole premise of this ever lasting conflict - it could all be sorted out in 2 easy moves - but that will not happen as Israel are the biggest terrorists themselves..lets not forget By way of deception thou shalt make war

Perhaps you can find a UN resolution that tells palestinians to stop suicide bombings and stuff like that? You'd probably find such resolutions were vetoed by Russia/USSR.

So what if he is an Israeli citizen? There is little connection between Georgia and Israel apart from the latter selling their good unmanned drones - nothing suprising as Israelis drones are the best, even Russia now tries to buy them there.

I think I expressed my views in this thread in a fairly polite balanced manner without resorting to personal insults.

Unlike you I don't think such expression of ones views is the "evidence" of someone being a "tw@t" or whatever - your unjustified anger and other emotions are very much like those of palestinians and just like them you make a mistake.

The course of action that Israel took was that of overwhelming force (thus not balanced), however in this case it was I think necessary one.

HAMAS is not strictly a military organisation - it's para military, so one could say they are all civilians just like partisans were. I don't see how much more Israel could have done to make strikes more targeted given that they can't enter that area easily - if they did, then all HAMAS militants would blend into civilians and casualties would be much higher than in this case.

If HAMAS did not insist on unprovoked rocket attacks recently then this would not have happened - they have only themselves to blame for it.

Indeed, they stayed. So far it seems that this was justified as palestinians appear to have taken Israeli's withdrawl as sign of weakness.

Do you think that if palestinians had free right of movement around what was old "palestine", then there would be no suicide attacks? Palestinians have got themselves to blame for acting in such a way that there is zero confidence that they won't use such freedom of movement to inflict great civilian casualties on Israelies.

On satellite TV stations they have been showing thousands of Israeli Jewish protesters in Jerusalem protesting against the Israeli government bombing the Palestinians. This is a political dispute over land using the excuse of religion.
