I am visiting my Parents so my first job is to remove all the malware from their computer

Some malware is well nigh impossible to shift. Sometimes it's easier to buy a new disk and reinstall Windows from scratch (Then ghost it, in case your parents accidently download more malware.)

Install Linux, install vmware, install windows, backup the copy of windows.
