In my economy entrepreneurs would get rewarded handsomely and speculators (or speculants as I prefer to call them) would be most concerned about not dropping soap in the showers. You wouldn't be doing networking snaw until you fully grasp what latency is

Lordy, you'll get more respect telling people you are a kiddlie fiddler than admit you went there.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

So who's going to fund the entrepreneurs?

                The Dragons!

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

I don't think people are fair on ex-Polys and small unis. Sure I was depressed to learn they were bottom of the table, however if you look at how those tables are made you will see that they are heavily biased towards research - basically fixed to allow Oxford/Cambridge always win. The only thing I did not like in Wolves is that they've got too many foreigners in classes - should be a limit of 20% max, maybe 10% - otherwise it is hard to even learn English.

I am self-funding. In this country VCs don't fund entrepreneurs - they use leveraged buyouts to resell companies, at least in the USA VCs actually do what they are meant to - fund proper startups that's why USA has got tech leadership and this country keeps outsaucing whatever is left.

That's right mate - quality institution. And I'll tell you another thing (little tip between you and me) - there's some real BTL bargains in Wolverhampton. You want to get on board asap before they all go.
