TDD and design patterns
[quote=lambrini_socialist;541706]if you're into TDD and design patterns, please do come over to .NET as there are still far too many drag-n-drop forms cowboys in circulation.

Judging by the interviews I have been to the cowboy thing is a thing of the past. Even at sen dev level they want knowledge of Agile Methodologies, testing frameworks, all design patterns, very good UML skills etc etc
Got a shock when I started interviewing again, no room for bulltulipThere are no evil thoughts except one: the refusal to thinkComment

Stick with the dark side but take on a specialism otherwise you'll get seeking .net/sharepoint/sps/moss architect/developer gigs thrown at you for the rest of eternity as the sales bodies at ms just lurve to sell it as a panacea for all the world's IT problems and i don't know anyone who actually likes it other than the punters.
Of course if you want to settle on a really fat vein for a few years, Seeking c# .net MS Office SharePoint Server BizTalk expert gigs are a callin!Comment
