You're a total coward.
You abused the original poster by insulting his child.
Shame on you mate.
I'm a coward because I won't agree to your demands?
FFS, you've got some twisted sense of logic there sunshine!

Well, I learned my lesson that day, I can tell you!
I think Bogey that Churchills comment was not personalised at your son. I believe he was alluring to a conceptual pattern of behaviour that goes to make up a stereotypical football (or any other) supporter.
Only make posts about the weather?
Oh dear, keep up Dodgy - it wasn't MY son!
OK calm down. This is what I believe happened:
Churchill, in his inarticulate way, suggested that for a boy of 7 to shed tears because of a football match was inappropriate and that in the long run that sort of misguided passion can lead to fanaticism (which is of course where the short-form "fan" comes from). And from there to the sort of scummy behaviour we saw in Manchester.
There were quite a few posters, including myself who agreed with the sentiment of inappropriate passion, if not with the way it was put.
