Then maybe you could explain why his politics are so at odds with his lifestyle?

I am making a point based on what I see. No I have never met him and I may be quite wrong about him. I am however deeply suspicious of anyone who is rich who supports socialism and who therefore unquestioningly foists the dreadful public services upon the poor.

Give me someone who is rich and who believes in the values that made him rich, and who happily gives large amounts of his money away http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2008/05/03/dl0302.xml any day.

If Bragg truly believed in the state as a provider of services then he would surely spend more effort questioning why they were not better run. He wont do this of course because by championing the state and all of its representatives he is somehow seen as being "good".
