You definitely need at least two controllers. My kids, bless their cotton socks, bought us a 3rd for our wedding anniversary.

I ordered one from Gamestation today. Don't know if they've still got any in stock.

They were doing a good deal here, a second controller and they threw in Wii Play with it. I got Wii Boogie which comes with a microphone but its pretty difficult and you need a few bevvies first really. Going to pick up the guitar thingy tomorrow so we can have a laugh over Christmas (no shortage of Wii's here )
