It doesnt matter if she was dying or not. It is not even remotely funny.Originally posted by KentPhilip View PostNow I just want to touch upon the other side of this arguement. Is it possible that he didn't know she was dying? Maybe he thought that she was just ill or asleep or drunk or something?
Not that I am in any way vindicating what he did, which was totally disgusting, just I wonder that it might have been a mistake to an extent?
What I am saying is maybe you can't accuse him of murder or causing her death.
Don't all throw rocks, sticks, and keyboards at me in one go - its just a line a thought that I had, and maybe I'm wrong.
Pissing on someone clearly in distress is appaling. The others standing and laughing should be banged up too.
I feel the same about a bunch of bar stewards where I live. Some bloke threatening to jump off a local bridge and the crowd underneath is encouraging him to do so. Police should have nicked em all.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

If he is going to commit suicide then just get on with it. Why he needs to do it in front of an audience is asking to be ridiculed. The two incidents are not comparable and if anything your likening the suicide attempt to what this woman went through cheapens her experience.Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostIt doesnt matter if she was dying or not. Dont be an arse Dodgy. I am not comparing the incidents, I am clearly comparing the behaviour of the crowd. Both incidents show how far our society has slipped. The chap in question is known localy as having mental problems.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostIf he is going to commit suicide then just get on with it. They are indeed scum and they will never be able to put this behind them. Encouraging someone to top themselves 'for a laff' is also fairly shabby (not quite the same degree, but still scummy.) Does Milton Friedman for Dummies have a chapter on suicide as a valid economic choice?
Off Topic - do you spout off on here while you're spivving it up on the phone or is business very slack at the moment?Comment

This is a young man who has obviously been failed - by his parents, by the education system and, I'm ashamed to say, by the Army. He's one of the people who society has failed - and he's perceived by society as being a total and utter twunt as a result.
In prison we can but hope for some form of education and rehabilitation to be offered but if I'm being entirely honest I doubt it.
Before we get "red in tooth and claw" in our (entirely justifiable) condemnation of his actions, lets pause for two things:
1. Pause to remember the victim
2. Pause to think what our society has created
Item 2. obviates free-will, obviously, but still. It's a definite concern.Have patience. In time, even grass becomes milk.Comment

Stop trying to apportion blame to everyone but the man who carried the act out!
The army isnt to blame, neither are his parents or his schools. The only person responsible for his actions are him! It doesnt take a feckon genius to work out that p1ssing on someone is wrong!
