My new boss keeps offering to make me tea. I'm a bit freaked
I never get involved in "tea rounds". It's rare that everyone really wants a cup of tea or coffee at the same time, or at the same regularity, and nobody makes it as I like it.
Agree no-one else can make a cuppa as good as me, plus it gets you away from PC now and again to have a break and stop eyes becoming freaky...
That said there are loads of things these days where productivity is lost due to penny pinching...depends where you're working, but if you have someone doing it for you at one gig, you notice how long you spend doing it at the next one without any team sec's / canteen ladies etc...
arranging meetings
arranging travel
typing minutes
having to make a toast / bacon sarny yourself

Me neither. Always descends into, "Oh, will you pay for my tea this time? I don't want to break into a twenty.", etc. And then you never see the dosh. Am I just mean? Yep.
